Prove My Language
You know what your document means. A reader who is new to it does not. Prove My Language reviews a document the way that reader would meet it, and reports the places where they would get lost.
What it finds
- Undefined terms: a word or abbreviation that the document relies on but never explains.
- Inconsistent vocabulary: two words for one thing, or one word that quietly changes meaning between sections.
- Unexplained jargon: specialist language used without a definition or a plain-words gloss.
Each finding names the term, shows where it appears, and says what a cold reader would not know at that point.
What it is for
Specifications, policies, contracts, standards, manuals, grant applications, onboarding guides: any document where a reader who was not in the room has to act on what is written.
What it costs
Your first 3 runs on this site are free, limited in size. You are shown the price for your own document or code before anything is charged, and you decide whether to pay.
What it is not
A review is one careful reading, not a promise that nothing was missed. Read the findings, decide which matter, and fix what you agree with.
