FAQ
Do you keep my document?
No. It is held encrypted on disk, with a key kept only in memory, while the review runs, and deleted when the job ends. See Security and privacy.
Who sees my document?
The review is done by an AI model. We send the text to an AI company for analysis. People at our company do not read your documents.
How long is my report kept?
At most 24 hours, encrypted. It is deleted sooner after you have downloaded both files, or when you press Delete now.
What does a run cost?
Your first 3 runs on this site are free, limited in size. You are shown the price for your own document or code before anything is charged, and you decide whether to pay.
What file types can I upload?
Plain text, Markdown, HTML, Word, RTF, ODT, Apple Pages and PDF (with a text layer).
Can it review a web page?
Yes. Enter the address of one public page instead of choosing a file. We fetch that page only (see our fetcher), read its text and show you the start of it, so you can check it before anything is charged. We do not keep the address. Pages that build their text with JavaScript cannot be read.
What is Special Treatment?
An option on the upload form for certain kinds of document, such as a patent application, a court pleading, a contract, a statute, a technical standard, a scientific paper or software documentation. It adds checks suited to that kind of document. It does not give legal advice.
Can it review a document in another language?
It is built and tested for English. Other languages may work, but we have not checked them, and the report will not tell you if it missed something.
Is the report always right?
No. A report is a review, not a promise that nothing was missed, and some findings will be ones you disagree with. You decide what to change.
Can I get my money back?
If a run fails on our side you are not charged. If you have another problem with a charge, contact us.
